Cairo: A Novel and a Narrator at AUC Tahrir Culture Festival 2024

The festival is a celebration of culture, heritage and art in the heart of Egypt. To connect AUC to the downtown community, the event includes a book bazaar, lectures, exhibitions, performances, entertainment, a taste of Cairo, and additional events, at the AUC campus from April 17 to April 22, 2024. From 12 noon to 9 p.m.

AUC Tahrir Culture Festival 2024

At the American University in Cairo, during the 2024 Tahrir Cultural Festival, a symposium was held which featured writers Omar Taher and Ashraf Al-Ashmawy. The symposium was titled "Cairo: A Novel and a Narrator" and was moderated by cultural content creator Amr Al-Maadawi. The purpose of this event was to celebrate Egypt's culture, heritage, and art, while fostering better communication between the university and the downtown community. The festival will take place from April 17 to 22, 2024, on the American University in Cairo campus. It will feature various activities including a book bazaar, lectures, exhibitions, performances, and entertainment, beginning daily at 12 noon and continuing until 9 p.m.
